What’s new in 2.1?

Advanced Stock charting control

The old stock charting control replaced with a fully featured stock charting control which supports drawings and more than hundred technical indicators.

Multiple Account Support

From version 2.1 a database can contains several accounts. The only restriction is that the all accounts must have the same base currency.

New Import Modules

Several new import modules added. Connector based MetaTrader 4 transaction and historical data importers and TradeMonster importer.

Several performance improvements

The import process is much faster than in the previous version and the UI responsibility has been improved as well.

What's new in TradingDiary Pro 2? Well, pretty much everything, we'd say. But let's focus on the most important points.

Redesigned database handling

The new database is SQL based and much more robust than the previous one. The response of the software is much faster.

Historical data support

End of day data download support is available with several download modules, including Yahoo and Interactive Brokers.

Updated user interface

We have slightly redesigned the user interface. It is much more modern with skinning and a better overall look and feel.

Totally new hierarchical grid

The old grids are replaced with a new hierarchical grid, which is more comprehensive and more user friendly with a lot of customizations:

• Sorting against unlimited fields, sorting by cell display values
• Advanced column reordering, much easier to reorder columns than in the V1.3
• Data grouping
• Group summaries
• Quick find
• Incremental search

Journal

The new journal view is a fully featured rich text editor with additional features. Formatted texts, screen-shots, links etc. can be added like in any other document editor.

Screenshots replaced with a rich text document

The old screenshot handling was removed and replaced with a rich text document. It is much more useful and easier to attach text, screenshots and documents into positions.

Gantt position view

Positions are displayed graphically, similar to a Gantt chart which gives the ability to overview all positions by date.

Risk Analysis

Portfolio risk analysis added with several metrics : Standard Deviation, Mean Return, Annual Return, Sharpe Ratio, Downside Deviation and Sortino Ratio.
